Recipes for the Soul .... \"Power and Grace\"
\"The quality of strength lined with tenderness is an unbeatable combination\"
- Maya Angelo
We all know at least one person who is both strong and tender. A parent is one example of such a person; a teacher is another. Tehy insist that we learn demanding lessons that guide us through life. They also pick us up and dust us off when we stumble. Eventually, we can pick ourselves up and guide others, too.
Simple Steps ....
Teach with praise. If you have rules - at work or at home - praise others for doing things well. Praise is a better teacher than criticism.
Set high standards and stick to them. Lift others up to your level with support and guidance. Don\'t let others bring you down.
